About Us

Proficient Instruction

Mr. Hinds is a gifted teacher with a diverse background in Martial Arts with his original black belt in Tukong Moosul achieved in 1996 and a lifetime of training ever since. He is currently advancing his rank as a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Our Philosophy

Mr. Hinds has a passion for sharing Martial Arts and concepts of Self-Defense in order to help his students protect themselves and their loved ones.

Building Community

At Family Training Center Martial Arts Academy everyone matters. From our rates schedule to our curriculum to the classes we offer FTC has the entire Family in mind.

Weekly Classes

Mr. Hinds is currently offering the following group classes, as well as private instruction in Arnis (Filipino stick fighting), bladed weapons, Judo, and Lady's self-defense. Stay tuned for the next Lady's Self Defense 6 week course.

Tuition

Flat Rate Tuition with the whole Family in mind!

Tuition is due on the 1st of the month. Tuition is $125 for the first family member and $25 for each additional family member after that.

Uniforms

$150

Required Uniforms include: Gi top, pants, belt, TShirt and patches.

Scheduled Belt Tests

$110

For those desiring to advance their rank and training Belt Tests occur approximately every 4-6 months.

Come try out our classes to see if they are right for you, one or all. You may have an introductory week on us free of charge!

We know that our rates are far below market and ridiculously reasonable. That is not because we undervalue our services but because we want to make our classes available to the entire family. We recognize that a large family may not be able to receive quality Martial Arts instruction if kept up with the market rate.

Where are you?

We are in the Plaza West strip center at 1716 West 1431 in Marble Falls across from St Peter's Lutheran church. Look for the red Karate flag and Blue sign.

Can I just watch for the first class?

Absolutely! But I also encourage you to jump right in and participate as soon as you can.

What should I wear on my first class?

Loose comfortable clothing that you can move well in. We have loaner gis for those doing Jits their first day.
